  • The Medic-CE CAPCE approval number is MedicCE6500.
  • Medic-CE.com provides access to an instructor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, via email or telephone to answer any questions a student may have and is, therefore, classified as instructor-based continuing education.
  • California only awards credit hours above 1 hour in half hour increments. Therefore, any Medic-CE course that is 1.25 hours will count as 1 hour in the state of California, and any course that is 1.75 hours will count as 1.5 hours in the state of California. Consult your regional EMS office for further information.
  • For LA County providers, per the County regulations, you may NOT take more than 8 hours on a given day. Medic-CE allows you to take 12. However, LA County will not accept your credits if you took more than 8.

    • 5 Year Recertification Program: Continuing education programs should include many different learning activities. Topics must be relevant to EMS and/or prehospital care. You must be able to document attendance and participation. A maximum of 25 hours total may be credited for self-study activities through documented continuing education via publications, video and/or Internet training.

Fire-CE


Medic-CE's Fire-CE courses have been approved by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection. Medic-CE's Fire-CE courses can be used towards TCFP recertification and can be used for recertification in other states that accept Fire-CE courses that are approved by another state.
